The Many Ways of Seeing
This 100+ page braille book entitled: The Many Ways of Seeing, documents a University of Michigan collaboration with the Ann Arbor Public Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled. Nine University of Michigan BFA Art & Design students partnered with nine disabled senior citizens to make art and forge new friendships.
Funding was provided by the Ann Arbor Library, the University Regents, and a University of Michigan grant. Braille printing was by the National Braille Press.
